Circular value chain
In the Circular Economy we design new value chains, but how do we create demand by customers? Overview, communication & connecting are necessary.

Bio Design
From organic waste streams & renewable feedstock to biomaterials to product design. To create a Biobased Economy, we connect green chemistry with the consumer.

VanHier
We design and make biocircular consumer products with a local identity. Targetgroups of the brand VanHier are consumers, companies and municipalities.
Bio Design
FROM BIOMATERIALS TO PRODUCT DESIGN
A huge amount CO2 can be reduced when we start to make our waste circular. This is called the Circular Economy. Part of this is the Biobased Economy: by using biobased materials, CO2 can be cleanup and captured. We contribute to climate recovery: Regeneration.
Bio Design is an initiative and part of Regeneration Design.
Circular Value Chain
To design a Circular Economy, Regeneration Design is active in different client fields. We are ‘the voice of the consumer’ so we approach Circular Economy from out of this viewing point.
We use Design Thinking & Systems Thinking to develop new value chains..
CIRCULAR & BIOBASED DESIGN
Why is it so hard to realise the transition to a Circular Economy? Circular feedstocks are not available in large amount yet, so we have to start from a local ecosystem.
Regeneration Design brings the manufacturing industry, startups, municipalities and consumers closer together. Technically we can solve the problems, but demand has to be created to develop business cases. Together with various partners, Regeneration Design can help manufacturing companies and municipalities to become circular. We are well aware of the (upcoming) circular and biobased / degradable material and process innovations with various applications from packaging to public space.
Connecting waste-streams with technology & possibilities, and translate it into products with circular stories and local identity. Creating value is the key in a Circular Economy.
Tools
Regeneration is our purpose, but how do we get there? These tools can help for long-term innovation and complex problems.

Regenerative design
Designing products, services, systems and processes which lead to ecological and social recovery and keep the systems healthy.

Systems thinking
The interaction of disciplines, sectors and systems. Placing the needs in a total-system with a social & societal purpose by Transdisciplinary thinking

Frame creation
Solve the needs and complex problems by finding new frames or perspectives. Zoom in and out, continiously.

A dedicated and enthusiastic Circular & Biobased Designer. Practice-oriented & learning by doing.
After my Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Product Design, I started to work as Product Developer. In my career I have developed a wide range of consumer products and innovations.
In 2018, I founded Regeneration design: the link between nature, science/technology, customers and consumers/society.
Passionated about biobased/biodegradable & circular materials, applications & products. Nature can give us safe and healthy biomaterials, we have to discover the possibilities.
