Circular value chain

In the Circular Economy we design new value chains, but how do we create demand by customers? Overview, communication & connecting are necessary.

Bio Design

From organic waste streams & renewable feedstock to biomaterials to product design. To create a Biobased Economy, we connect green chemistry with the consumer.

VanHier

We design and make biocircular interior products with a local identity. Targetgroups of the brand VanHier are consumers, companies and municipalities.

We are specialized in applying circular materials, organizing circular education programs and we facilitate workshops to create circular businessmodels. One of our successful programs is the ‘NS Circular Challenge’ in collaboration with Noorderwind.

Bio Design

FROM BIOMATERIALS TO PRODUCT DESIGN

A huge amount CO2 can be reduced when we start to make our waste circular. This is called the Circular Economy. Part of this is the Biobased Economy: by using biobased materials, CO2 can be cleanup and captured. We contribute to climate recovery: Regeneration.

Bio Design is an initiative and part of Regeneration Design.

VanHier – Interior products

Design and manufacturing of biocircular home accessories. By using organic waste and circular natural fibers, we contribute to nature- and climate restoration.

By turning mass production into appropriate production, we are changing overconsumption into conscious consumption.

Vade – Bio urn

In 2019, we started a research in 3D printed urns with biodegradable polymers. Cremation ashes can be buried in one of our biodegradable urns made of plants. The circle is complete when the urn degrades in the soil and the (buried) seeds sprout into a tree, bush or plant. From nature to nature.

A dedicated and enthusiastic Circular & Biobased Designer. Practice-oriented & learning by doing.

After my Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Product Design, I started to work as Product Developer. In my career I have developed a wide range of consumer products and innovations.

In 2018, I founded Regeneration design: the link between nature, science/technology, customers and consumers/society.

Passionated about biocircular materials & Bio Design: nature can give us safe and healthy biomaterials, we only have to discover the possibilities in applications.
